With the most recent economic downfall in Argentina in 2001-2002, the
school lost many personal and corporate donors. The school is now in the
process of re-establishing ties to Argentina’s corporations, individuals and
organizations that can help the school.
Monies given by Argentine entities are tax deductible. We ask for help
from any interested parties and can provide you with any additional
information you may need to get better acquainted with this historic
institution.
Helping the School
Donations
Donations will be acknowledged on our website by name under the
Sponsors tab. You can choose the nature of your donations: for general
purposes or specific use – such as updating the football field; re-finishing
and painting of walls; renewing mattresses; purchasing a new commercial
refrigerator, etc.
Scholarships
Merit or Need Scholarships can also be established and tailored to your budget. For example, annual tuition for a Morning Student is about the
equivalent of US$600; annual tuition and boarding for one of the Boarders totals about US$2,000.
Please contact either Marian St. James at marianstjames@yahoo.com or Carlos St. James at carlosstjames@yahoo.com with any questions or
comments on how to help.
The school was built in 1920 and virtually everything is outdated. For example, the administrative staff has only three old computers. The 440
students share 10 computers used for learning; the newest ones are about ten years old and were donated. There is no internet access at the school.
